Democrats have discovered a new reality game – they call it Blame it on Bernie. Hillary slips in the polls versus The Donald – Blame it on Bernie. The Republicans, who have dislike both Clintons for years are uniting behind The Donald so Blame it on Bernie. Her flunkies discover they are outnumbered in the Nevada State Convention so they disqualify enough of the opposition to win. When discovered, there is threat of ensuing violence so Blame it on Bernie. The media takes its cue and refuses to discuss Bernie or his core issues. Hillary refuses to debate Bernie in the largest state in the country with one of the most diverse populations so Bernie says yes to debate The Donald so Blame it on Bernie. Bernie won’t go quietly into the night and his opponents want him to abandon his supporters so Blame it on Bernie. Some of Bernie supporters, who became Bernie supporters in part because they don’t want Hillary, continue to refuse to support her so Blame it on Bernie.
I didn’t realize Democrat leadership was so into scapegoating. I guess that’s what happens when you become defensive when you’ve been outed as the party of the working class which doesn’t give a shit about the working class. Think about it – NAFTA, the TPP, the dearth of support for labor unions, the huge party debate whether a minimum working wage is a justifiable thing (perhaps those that oppose a minimum wage feel that workers should not have a wage to buy minimum necessities), deregulation and support of neoliberalism, both that lead to increased inequality, government agencies no matter oppose conglomeration in an industry or service, or banks that have become too big to fail.
Perhaps they will just Blame it on Bernie
“Bernie Sanders’ openness to debate Donald Trump ahead of California’s primary — an idea first floated during a “Jimmy Kimmel Live” interview with the presumptive GOP nominee Wednesday — has some Democratic lawmakers fuming. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, told Politico Thursday that the possibility of a debate was “bulls***.” “That confirms what we’ve been saying,” Manchin told the news site. “Why would you expect Bernie should be considerate or be nice or be working to bring everyone together? Why? He’s not a Democrat.” California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, whose state holds its primary on June 7, posited that the debate was a publicity ploy. “What he’s trying to do,” Feinstein told Politico, California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, whose state holds its primary on June 7, posited that the debate was a publicity ploy.”
“What he’s trying to do,” Feinstein told Politico, “is bring attention to himself.” http://www.cbsnews.com/news/democrats-pile-on-bernie-sanders-over-bulls-donald-trump-debate/
“While avoiding saying Donald Trump’s name out loud, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters Tuesday on Capitol Hill that “the early indications are that our nominee is likely to be very competitive.”
“We know that Hillary Clinton will be four more years of Barack Obama. I think that’s in the end going to be enough to unify Republicans across the country,” McConnell said in a press conference after the GOP caucus lunch, the first official gathering of Republican senators since Trump emerged as the party’s presumptive presidential nominee.” http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/mcconnell-trump-clinton-unite-gop
This in part is why they want to Blame it on Bernie:
